Ethanoic acid (CH3COOH) reacts with absolute Ethanol (C2H5OH) in the presence of acid catalyst (Conc. H2SO4) to give ester. This reaction is called "Esterification Reaction".
CH3COOH + C2H5OH --(Conc. H2SO4)--> CH3COOC2H5 + H2O.
