The ionic product of Ni(OH)2 is given as:

Ni(OH)2 ⇌ Ni2+ + 2OH-

Ksp = [Ni2+][OH-]^2 = 2

Since the solution is in 0.1 M NaOH, the concentration of OH- ions can be assumed to be 0.1 M.

Therefore, substituting the values in the Ksp expression, we get:

2 = [Ni2+](0.1)^2

[Ni2+] = 2/(0.01) = 200 M

Hence, the solubility of Ni(OH)2 in 0.1 M NaOH is 200 M.
