A,B and C started a shop by investing Rs. 27000, Rs. 8100 and Rs. 7200...
Given:
Investment of A = Rs. 27000
Investment of B = Rs. 8100
Investment of C = Rs. 7200
Profit of B = Rs. 3600

To find:
Total profit of A, B, and C

Solution:
Let the total profit be x.
Then, as per the given information,

Profit of A : Profit of B : Profit of C = Investment of A : Investment of B : Investment of C

Profit of A = (Investment of A / Total Investment) × Total Profit
Profit of B = (Investment of B / Total Investment) × Total Profit
Profit of C = (Investment of C / Total Investment) × Total Profit

Substituting the given values,

Profit of A = (27000 / 42300) × x = (9 / 14) × x
Profit of B = (8100 / 42300) × x = (3 / 14) × x = 3600
Profit of C = (7200 / 42300) × x = (4 / 21) × x

Solving for x,

(3 / 14) × x = 3600
x = (3600 × 14) / 3
x = 16800

Therefore, the total profit of A, B, and C is Rs. 16800.

Answer: Option (c) Rs. 8000
