Consider the following statements:1. Constituent Assembly adopted the ...
The correct option is A) 1 and 2 only.

Explanation:

- Statement 1: Constituent Assembly adopted the national flag on July 22, 1947.
This statement is correct. The Constituent Assembly of India adopted the design of the national flag on July 22, 1947. The flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya and has three equal horizontal bands of saffron (top), white (middle), and green (bottom) with a navy blue wheel in the center representing the chakra. It was first hoisted on August 15, 1947, when India gained independence from British rule.

- Statement 2: Constituent Assembly adopted the national anthem on January 24, 1950.
This statement is also correct. The national anthem of India, "Jana Gana Mana", was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India on January 24, 1950. The lyrics were written by Rabindranath Tagore in Bengali and later translated into Hindi and English. It was first sung on December 27, 1911, at the Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress.

- Statement 3: Constituent Assembly elected Dr. Rajendra Prasad as the first President of India on January 26, 1950.
This statement is incorrect. Although Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected as the first President of India, it was not on January 26, 1950. The date of his election as President was January 24, 1950, two days before the adoption of the Constitution of India.

Thus, the correct option is A) 1 and 2 only.
