In the following question below are given three statements followed by...
Statements:
I. 22% Sweater are Blue.
II. 100% Blue are Violet.
III. 100% Violet are Colour.

Conclusions:
I. Some Sweater are Colour.
II. No Colour is Blue.
III. Some Violet are Sweater.

Explanation:

Statement I:
22% of Sweaters are Blue.

Statement II:
100% of Blue items are Violet.

Statement III:
100% of Violet items are Colour.

Conclusion I:
Some Sweaters are Colour.

Conclusion II:
No Colour is Blue.

Conclusion III:
Some Violet are Sweaters.

Explanation:
From Statement I, we know that 22% of Sweaters are Blue. This means that there is a subset of Sweaters that are Blue.

From Statement II, we know that 100% of Blue items are Violet. This means that all Blue items are also Violet.

From Statement III, we know that 100% of Violet items are Colour. This means that all Violet items are also Colour.

Conclusion I:
From the given statements, we can conclude that some Sweaters are Colour. This is because 22% of Sweaters are Blue and all Blue items are Violet, and all Violet items are Colour. Therefore, there is a subset of Sweaters that are also Colour.

Conclusion II:
From the given statements, we cannot conclude that no Colour is Blue. While it is true that all Blue items are Violet and all Violet items are Colour, there is no information given about the relationship between Colour and Blue directly. Therefore, we cannot conclude that no Colour is Blue.

Conclusion III:
From the given statements, we can conclude that some Violet items are Sweaters. This is because all Blue items are Violet and 22% of Sweaters are Blue. Therefore, there is a subset of Violet items that are also Sweaters.

Therefore, only Conclusion I and III follow from the given statements. So, the correct answer is option C) Only I and III follow.
