In a row of boys, Amrith is seventh from the left and Amar is twelfth ...
Given:
Amrith is seventh from the left and Amar is twelfth from the right.
When they interchange their positions, Amrith becomes 22nd from the left.

To find:
How many boys are there in the row?

Solution:
Let the total number of boys in the row be 'n'.
After interchanging their positions, Amrith becomes 22nd from the left.
Therefore, the number of boys to the left of Amrith = 22 - 1 = 21.
And the number of boys to the right of Amrith = n - 21.
Since Amrith was originally seventh from the left, there were 6 boys to his left.
And since Amar was originally twelfth from the right, there were 11 boys to his right.
Therefore, after interchanging their positions, Amrith is to the right of Amar by (21 - 6 - 11) = 4 boys.
Hence, we can write:
(n - 21) - 4 = 21 + 6
Simplifying the above equation, we get:
n = 33

Therefore, there are 33 boys in the row.

Answer: Option (c) 33.
