- Total number of slots = 144
- Total number of conductors = 6 x 144 = 864

Calculating the new number of parallel paths (P'):

- Original number of parallel paths (P) = number of poles = 4
- Since we are rewinding the armature in wave connection, the new number of parallel paths (P') = 2 x P = 2 x 4 = 8

Calculating the new generated EMF:

- Original EMF generated (E) = 216 volts
- New generated EMF (E') = E x P'/P = 216 x 8/4 = 432 volts
