The coefficient of friction between two blocks of mass 10 kg and 20 k...
The force of friction of 10 kg block will be towards right and according to Newton’s 3rd law it will be towards left on 20 kg block.
Consider the motion of 10 kg block,
N1 = 10g (∵ there is no acceleration in vertical direction)
Suppose the both the blocks move together with acceleration a in horizontal direction,
μN1 = 10a
μ × 10g = 10a
a = μg
Consider the motion of 20 kg block in horizontal direction,
F - μN1 = 20a
F - 0.2 ×10×g = 20× 0.2 × g
F = 6g = 58.86 N
