Evaporation using Meyer’s Formula
E = Km(es – ea) (1 + v9/16
Km = 0.36
Relative humidity, ea/es = 0.4
es = 17.54/0.4 = 43.85 mm of Hg
Velocity of wind at 9 m above ground, v9/v2 = (9/2)1/7
v9 = 11 × 1.239 = 13.629 km/hr
Putting in Meyer’s Formula, E = 0.36(43.85 – 17.54) (1 + 13.629/16) = 17.539 mm/day
