Optimum order quantity, Q∗2 =

Ch = 0.1 × 0.9 = 0.09
Optimum order quantity,
Q∗1 is within the range. Total inventory cost
= 1500/365.15 × 4 + 12 × 365.15 × 0.09 + 1500 × 0.9
= 1382.86
