This complex ion consists of a central nickel ion (Ni) surrounded by five water molecules (H2O) and one ammonia molecule (NH3). Since all the ligands (water and ammonia) are the same and arranged in an octahedral geometry around the central metal ion, there is no possibility of geometrical isomerism or optical isomerism. Therefore, this complex ion does not exhibit any isomerism.

(B) [Ni(H2O)4(NH3)2]2:
This complex ion also consists of a central nickel ion (Ni) surrounded by four water molecules (H2O) and two ammonia molecules (NH3). Here, the ligands are different (water and ammonia) and arranged in an octahedral geometry, which allows for the possibility of geometrical isomerism.
