NEET Eligibility Criteria

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into various medical and dental courses in India. The eligibility criteria for NEET 2023 are as follows:

Age Limit
- The minimum age limit to appear for NEET 2023 is 17 years as on December 31, 2023.
- There is no upper age limit for NEET 2023.

Education Qualification
- Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

- Candidates born on or before December 31, 2004, are eligible to appear for NEET 2023.
- Therefore, candidates born in 1998 are eligible to appear for NEET 2023.
