One of my friends got a rank of 201 in GATE. I’ll share how he studied (with college, yes):• Be regular with your GATE tuitions. Of the utmost importance. • Join online test series and solve mock papers. • Utilize college time and especially do not waste it. If there are lectures during which you are more or less free, take along your tuition material and revise it. This revision is very important. And that too consistently. • Once you are done with a topic, make it a point to revise it after 1 week. This means going through its notes and reciting its concepts. Each and every ‘why’ should be clear to you.• If possible, teach your friends, too. This will help to strengthen your hold on the topic as you find new ways to explain (and understand) the same thing to different people. • Say no to a lot of social invitations. Make your daily goal a priority. • Be consistent and keep your morale up. stop thinking about the result and give things your best shot.
