A permanent magnet is something that is an innate ability of a magnet that continues to show magnetism even if it is removed from the magnetic field.

Permanent magnet examples = Alnico and ferrites.

Electromagnets are soft iron cores that are made into magnets on passing an electric current through the coil surrounding them.

Electromagnet Example = hairdryers, CD players, power drills, electric saws .

Horseshoe magnet is permanenti dont know a proper example of electromagnet..............but when you will pass electricity from any conductor it will creat magnetic field around it and will behave like a magnetis it helpful??
