The counting rate observed from a radioactive source at t=0 was 1600 c...
A = Ao {(1/2)^t/(T1/2)}100=1600{(1/2)^8/(T1/2)}T(1/2) = 2 sec Again at t = 6 sec, A = 1600(1/2)^6/2 = 200 counts/sec

At t=0 it has rate 1600 and at t=8 it has rate 100 i.e. it has half life time 2 sec bcs after 4 half life time rate 1600 becomes 100..... so after 6 sec that means after 3 half life time rate is D)200

Here is the formula for this N/No=(1/2)^n where n= T/t1/2N= no.of nuclei undecayed No= initial sample.. T is the time at which sample has been decayed and t1/2 is half lifenow put the appropriate values and u will get the ans as D.200
