Me gives +I effect nd F - I effect.. +I effect will increase electron density nd will favour back bonding of carboxyl complex with metal.. thus metal nd carbon will hv more bond order..nd c-o will hv less bond order.. thus, more bond lenght.. so ans is scnd one..
