And 3500 opted only for Company B. The remaining persons opted for both companies. How many persons opted for both companies?

To find out how many people opted for both companies, we need to subtract the number of people who opted only for Company A and the number of people who opted only for Company B from the total number of people surveyed.

Total number of people surveyed = 7500
Number of people who opted only for Company A = 2500
Number of people who opted only for Company B = 3500

Number of people who opted for both companies = Total number of people surveyed - Number of people who opted only for Company A - Number of people who opted only for Company B
Number of people who opted for both companies = 7500 - 2500 - 3500
Number of people who opted for both companies = 1500

Therefore, 1500 persons opted for both companies.
