In srilanka the Tamils native were known as Sri Lankan Tamils .and they were just 13 percent of total population . In 1956 , An act was passed to recognise Sinhala as official language and policies were forwarded by government which favoured Sinhala applicants for government jobs .
So they felt ignored and as a result launched parties and struggles for recognition of Tamil language as official language and for equal opportunity in education and jobs .
So that's why C is correct because other are against actions of Srilankan Tamil .
