A bond between 2 nonmetal that have different electronegativities and therefore having unequal sharing of bonding electron pair is called polar covalent bond but a bond between 2 nonmetal that have equal electronegativities and therefore having equal sharing of bonding electron pair is called non polar covalent bond.

What are polar and non polar compounds?
The greater the electronegativity difference, the more ionic the bond is. Bonds that are partly ionic are called polar covalent bonds. Nonpolar covalent bonds, with equal sharing of the bond electrons, arise when the electronegativities of the two atoms are equal.
