Tetanus, It is a disease caused by the infection of bacteria Clostridium tetani.  On entering the body, the spores of C. tetani germinate to form the bacteria and spread the poison named tetanospasmin in the body resulting in the blockage of nerve signals from the spinal cord to the muscles thus causing severe muscle spasms and results in lockjaw.
