Each appliance has its own individual current and power consumption.

Total Electrical Power

The total electrical power consumed by the parallel combination of electrical appliances is equal to the sum of the individual power consumption of each appliance.

When appliances are connected in parallel, the voltage across each appliance is the same.

The current consumed by each appliance is independent of the other appliances connected in parallel.

Therefore, the total current consumed by the parallel combination of appliances is equal to the sum of the individual current consumption of each appliance.
