The main criteria of Whittaker's classification is based upon cell structure ( complexity of cell),thallus organisation( complexity of body organisation) ,mode of nutrition ,reproduction and phylogenetic relationship .So correct ans is A

Correct answer is option A because the characters of RH whittaker classification is eukaryotic and prokaryotic not the presence or absence of nucleus because there is a lot of exception in which eukaryote poses no nucleus ...example :RBC , mature sieve tube element....

I think Option B is the correct option as 5 kingdom system of classification is not based on it

The answer of this question is b mode of reproduction as Whittaker didn't used it and it's clearly mentioned in ncert .

There is no right ans ....but if we look for the ncert ...there is a box of characteristics of five kindom classification ....mode of reproduction is not mentioned, that's way the least incorrect ans is option b .....and if we go through the meaning of presence or absence of well defined nucleus ...it means prokaryotes and eukaryotes that means complexity of cell structure...that is mentioned in ncert line and box also.

A is correct becoz RH Whittaker not define Eukaryotes and Prokaryotes which termed as well define nucleus or not.

The main principle for analysis by R.H. Whittaker include:
1. Complexity of cell structure (eukaryotic or prokaryotic)
2. Body organiazation (unicellular or multicellular)
3. Thallus organization
4. Mode of nutrition (autotrophs or heterotrophs)
5. Reproduction (sexual or asexual)
6. Phylogenetic relationships
And therefore presence or absence of a well-defined nucleus is not the basis for R.H. Whittaker's classification.
