The ratio between the present ages of P and Q is 6:7. If Q is four yea...
P:Q = 6:7 i.e P/Q = 6/7 => 7P = 6Q--------1

Given that Q = P + 4 (put in 1)

7P = 6(P + 4)

So, P = 24 and Q = P+4 i.e 28years

After 4 years, P+4 i.e 24+4= 28yrs

And Q = 28 +4 = 32years

The ratio we get is 7:8

P/Q = 6/7
7P = 6Q , as Q is 4 years older than P
7P = 6(P+4)
Hence, P = 24

After 4 years, P = 28 and Q=32
And ratio will be P/Q = 28/32 = 7/8

OPTION E : NONE OF THESE
