#HOMOLOGOUS ORGANS:- Those organs which have the same basic structure but different functions are called homologous organs. ex.. the forelimb of man and a lizard have same basic structure but the forelimb of human is used for grasping but the forelimb of lizard are used for running.
#ANALOGOUS ORGANS:- Those organs which have different basic structure but have similar appearance and work are called analogous organs. ex.. wing of a bird and the wing of insect are too different but they do same work of flying for them.

Analogous organs are those organs which have a different basic structure but perform the same function. For example, the wing of an insect and a bird have completely different basic structure, but they perform the same function—of flying.
Homologous organs are those organs which have the same basic structure but perform different functions. For example, the forelimbs of humans, cheetahs, whales and bats have the same basic structural plan. But the forelimbs in humans are used for grasping, in cheetah for running, in whales for swimming and in bats for flying.
