1* more reactive metal displaces less reactive metal from its compound

Fe+CuSo4:- FeSo4+Cu
Double Displacement reactions:-
1*It is mutual exchange of ions
2*It is a fast reaction
3* precipitate is formed
4*example:-
NaSo4+BaCl2:- BaSo4+2NaCl

Difference bw displacement and double displacement reaction?
■In displacement reaction.......simply high reactive element displace low reactive element from its compound.
▪For example......Zn + CuSO4 =========> ZnSO4 + Cu.....here zinc is the high reactive than copper. So its displace copper from its compound and get react with SO4 to form .....zinc sulphate(ZnSO4).
■In DOUBLE DISPLACEMENT reaction.........two different atom or group of atom are exchanged.....see the example !!!
▪For example.......BaCl2 + Na2SO4 =========> BaSO4 + NaCl......... here u can see....there is an exchanging of atoms in both of the given compound...!! ......in simple SO4 get exchanged with Cl2.........nd even becz of this it is called double displacement reaction ........!!!
