Calvin cycle is a biochemical pathway that is responsible for fixing CO2 into organic compounds. It is a crucial process for plants and some bacteria for producing energy and organic molecules. The Calvin cycle consists of three stages: carbon fixation, reduction, and regeneration.

Carbon Fixation:
In this stage, CO2 is fixed into an organic molecule using the enzyme RuBisCO. The organic molecule produced is 3-phosphoglycerate (3PGA).

Reduction:
In this stage, ATP and NADPH2 are used to reduce 3PGA into glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (G3P). The energy and reducing power are provided by ATP and NADPH2, respectively.

Regeneration:
In this stage, some of the G3P molecules are used to regenerate the starting molecule, RuBP (ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate). ATP is used to power this process.

From the above stages, we can see that for fixing one molecule of CO2 in the Calvin cycle, three ATP and two NADPH2 molecules are required. The ATP is used in the reduction and regeneration stages while NADPH2 is used only in the reduction stage. Therefore, the correct answer is option 'A'.
