Plants show two types of movement but these movement are very slow and cannot be detected just by looking, these movements are as follow:-

1.. TROPHIC MOVEMENT:- We can just say that the movement shown by a plant by growing toward stimuli like water, light, chemical, gravity and chemical.

2.. NASTIC MOVEMENT:- these movements can be detected by anyone because these are are fast response of plants to stimuli like touch. Ex. when we touch a plants known as #touch-me-not(छुइ-मुई), they got shrink.

Growth Movements:

Tropisms refer to directional growth responses towards or away from stimuli, such as phototropism (response to light) and gravitropism (response to gravity). Nastic movements, on the other hand, are non-directional movements triggered by stimuli, such as the opening and closing of flowers in response to light or temperature changes.

Reproductive Movements:
Plants also display movements related to reproduction. For example, the opening of flowers to attract pollinators and the release of pollen or seeds through various mechanisms like wind dispersal or animal-mediated dispersal involve movement.

Responses to External Stimuli:
Plants exhibit movement in response to external stimuli, although these movements may be slower and less visible compared to animals. For instance, the movement of plant leaves in response to touch or changes in temperature is known as thigmotropism and thermonasty, respectively. Plants also exhibit hydrotropism (response to water), chemotropism (response to chemicals), and seismonasty (response to vibrations).

Conclusion:
