What is CLAT Merit List?
The CLAT Merit List is a list of candidates who have cleared the CLAT Cut Off and are eligible for admission to the National Law Universities (NLUs) based on their rank or score in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The merit list is usually prepared based on the scores of all the candidates who appeared for the exam and is used to determine the order of admission to the NLUs. After the declaration of the CLAT Cut Off, the exam authorities will release the merit list. The candidates who have cleared the cut-off will then be called to attend the CLAT Counselling. During this counselling process, the candidates have to submit all the required documents for document verification. The steps to be followed after the release of the third round cut off/ merit list of CLAT counseling are:
Acceptance of allotted seat: Eligible candidates need to accept the allotted seat by paying the admission fee as specified by the National Law University.
Completion of admission formalities: After accepting the allotted seat, candidates need to complete the necessary admission formalities, such as submitting required documents and completing the admission process.
