The Admit Card for UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023 will be issued for both the Preliminary and Main exams by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). You need to visit the official website of UPSC - https://upsconline.nic.in/ 

  • Visit the Admit Cards tab. 
  • Click on the ''Admit Cards for Various Examinations of UPSC''
  • Select the UPSC CSE 2023 Preliminary or Mains Examination and enter your registration ID and Password.
  • Download the UPSC CSE Admit Card

You can download the admit card with the Registration Number or Roll Number.

  • Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the Admit Card/signatures on the Scannable Attendance Lists will have to bring a photo identity proof viz. Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter I Card etc. and three passport size photographs one for each session for appearing in the examination with an undertaking.

Discrepancy, Omission, or Mistakes on the UPSC Prelims and Mains Admit Card 2023

Documents to carry with UPSC Admit Card 2023

  • Print out of the UPSC Admit Card for the Prelims Exam.
  • Carry two passport size photographs with you.

  • Bring this Admit Card (print out), along with the (original) photo identity card, as mentioned above and black ballpoint pen in each session to secure admission to the examination hall. The Admit Card must be preserved until the declaration of the final results.
  • Please note that entry into the examination venue shall be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination in each session. No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the examination venue after the closure of the entry. 
  • No electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, or other communication equipment are allowed in the examination room.
  • An incorrect encoding or filling of information on the OMR answer sheet, specifically concerning the roll number and test booklet series code, may cause the rejection of the sheet. However, it can be corrected at the examination center if allowed by the invigilator.
