If the Thyroid gland secrete Iodine in less amount in food what we eat, it leads to cause Goiter (Swelled Neck).
If the Thyroid gland secretes Iodine more, this leads to Hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism causes cretinism in children, myxedema in adults. This leads to Increase the body weight, regulates low metabolic process, leads to thick and loose wrinkled skin.
If the Thyroid gland secretes Iodine too much, this leads to the Hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism leads to increase the metabolic process, helps to rise the flow of blood in a very high resistance, this leads to high blood pressure.
