We can use the formula,

Distance = Speed x Time

Let us consider the following variables,

Let us calculate the distance travelled by the train in 10 seconds,

Distance travelled by the train in 10 seconds = Length of platform + Length of train

Distance = 100 + L (where L is the length of the train)

We know that,

Distance = Speed x Time

Substituting the values in the above formula, we get

100 + L = 25 x 10

100 + L = 250

L = 250 - 100

L = 150 m
