Let the number of individuals involved in election be x.
Percentage of those who were not vote = 100- (35+42)
= 23%
The difference between those who voted,
42% of x – 23% of x = 570
19% of x = 570
x = 570*100/19
= 3000

Given information:
- 35% voted for Person A
- 42% voted for Person B
- Remaining people did not vote for any person
- Difference between those who vote for Person B and those who are uncertain was 570

To find: Number of people who participated in the college election

Solution:
Let the total number of people who participated in the election be x.
Then, the number of people who voted for Person A = 35% of x = 0.35x
The number of people who voted for Person B = 42% of x = 0.42x
The number of people who did not vote for any person = (100% - 35% - 42%) of x = 23% of x = 0.23x

According to the given information, the difference between those who voted for Person B and those who did not vote for any person is 570. So,

0.42x - 0.23x = 570
0.19x = 570
x = 3000

Therefore, the total number of people who participated in the college election is 3000.

Answer: Option B (3000)
