Given:
- First vessel has 0.5 concentration of spirit
- Second vessel has 0.75 concentration of spirit
- 2 litres is taken from the first vessel
- 3 litres is taken from the second vessel

To find:
- Ratio of spirit and water in the resultant solution

Solution:
First vessel:
- 0.5 concentration of spirit means out of 1 litre, 0.5 litre is spirit and 0.5 litre is water
- 2 litres is taken from the first vessel, so the amount of spirit taken = 2 * 0.5 = 1 litre
- The remaining amount of water in the vessel = 2 litres - 1 litre = 1 litre

Second vessel:
- 0.75 concentration of spirit means out of 1 litre, 0.75 litre is spirit and 0.25 litre is water
- 3 litres is taken from the second vessel, so the amount of spirit taken = 3 * 0.75 = 2.25 litres
- The remaining amount of water in the vessel = 3 litres - 2.25 litres = 0.75 litre

Resultant solution:
- Total amount of spirit = 1 litre + 2.25 litres = 3.25 litres
- Total amount of water = 1 litre + 0.75 litre = 1.75 litres
- Ratio of spirit to water = 3.25 : 1.75
- Dividing both sides by 1.75, we get the simplified ratio = 13 : 7

Therefore, the ratio of spirit to water in the resultant solution is 13 : 7.
