In below are given three statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the given two statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the statements, disregarding commonly known facts. Statements: All pencils are papers.

                     All papers are black.

Conclusions: I. All black things being pencils is a possibility.

                     II. Some papers are not pencils.

All oils are sands
Some clays are oils
All clays are rocks
Combining all three statements, we get

Conclusions
I. At least some clays are sands ü
II. Some oil is not rock û
Conclusion I
Some clays are oils + All oils are sands = Some clays are sands
Hence, Thus, conclusion I follows.
Conclusion II
Some clays are oils → conversion → some oils are clays + All clays are rocks = Some oils are rock. Hence, conclusion II does not follows.
