B’s one day’s work = 1/30
The efficiency of C = 1/15 × 125/100 = 1/12
∴ C alone can complete the whole work in = 12 days
Let the efficiency of D be x
∴ 1 : 3 = 1/30 : x
∴ x = 1/10
∴ D alone can complete the whole work in = 10 days
⇒ One day work of (A + B + C + D) = 1/15 + 1/30 + 1/12 + 1/10 = (4 + 2 + 5 + 6)/60 = 17/60
∴ (A + B + C + D) together can complete the whole work in = 60/17 days
