Given:
External resistance (R1) = 2 Ω, Current (I1) = 2 A
External resistance (R2) = 1 Ω, Current (I2) = 3 A

Let the emf of the cell be E.

Using Ohm’s law:
Voltage = Current x Resistance

When the cell is connected to an external resistance of 2 Ω:
Voltage = I1 x R1
2 = E - (2 x R1)
2 = E - 4
E = 2 + 4 = 6 V

When the cell is connected to an external resistance of 1 Ω:
Voltage = I2 x R2
3 = E - (3 x R2)
3 = E - 3
E = 3 + 3 = 6 V

Therefore, the emf of the cell is 6 V.
