The raw materials required are CO2 H20 sunlight and chlorophyll. As we know chlorophyll is present inside chloroplast and it has two structures i.e, Liquid grana and another in thylakoids called stroma. Chlorophyll present in thylakoids captures light (Photon) and it is raised to a high energy state also called excited state which is an unstable condition. Chlorophyll loses its excited electron and gets oxidised. theast electron is used in photolysis of water to release electrons and protons used to form chemical energy in the form of NADPH and ATP. This whole process occurs in presence of light and is thus called light reaction.
Now phase two occurs called light independent reaction or dark reaction. this takes place in stroma of chloroplasts. Thie main job of this is carbon fixation to firm carbon compounds ATP and NADPH are used in production of glucose. Then the reaction of glucose formation I hope u know very well.
