Actually leaf cell is somatic ...hence it is diploid...so 2n= 22...then gametes are haploid n=11..... and embryo ( n+n) ...so 22.....in stem also diploid as it is somatic....ie..22...hope it's help u

A leaf cell of a flowering plant has 22 chromosomes then the number of...
The correct answer is 1) 11 in gametes.

Explanation:

A leaf cell of a flowering plant with 22 chromosomes refers to a diploid cell, which means it contains two sets of chromosomes, one set inherited from each parent. In this case, the diploid number is 22.

Gametes, on the other hand, are reproductive cells (sperm and egg cells) that are involved in sexual reproduction. Gametes are haploid, which means they contain only one set of chromosomes. During the process of gamete formation, called meiosis, the diploid number of chromosomes is halved, resulting in haploid gametes.

To understand the number of chromosomes in gametes, we need to consider the process of meiosis. In meiosis, the diploid cell undergoes two rounds of cell division, resulting in the formation of four haploid cells.

Each of these haploid cells, which will become gametes, will contain half the number of chromosomes as compared to the diploid cell. Therefore, in this case, the number of chromosomes in the gametes would be 11 (half of the original 22 chromosomes).

Hence, the correct answer is 1) 11 in gametes.
