Calculation of Milk Left in the Container after Replacement

Given:
Initial amount of milk = 60 kg
Amount of milk taken out and replaced by water each time = 6 kg
Number of times the process was repeated = 2

Step 1: In the first replacement,
Amount of milk left = 60 - 6 = 54 kg
Amount of water added = 6 kg

Step 2: In the second replacement,
Amount of milk left = 54 - (6/60)*54 + 6 = 48.6 kg
Amount of water added = (6/60)*54 = 5.4 kg

Step 3: In the third replacement,
Amount of milk left = 48.6 - (6/60)*48.6 + 5.4 = 43.74 kg
Amount of water added = (6/60)*48.6 = 4.86 kg

Therefore, the amount of milk left in the container after three replacements is 43.74 kg.

Answer: Option (c) 43.74 kg
