The largest salivary gland present in human is:a)Submandibular Glandb)...
The largest salivary gland present in humans is the parotid gland.

Explanation:
Salivary glands are responsible for producing saliva, which aids in the process of digestion. There are three major pairs of salivary glands present in humans:

1. Parotid Gland - This gland is located in front of the ear and is the largest of all the salivary glands. It produces a clear, watery secretion that is rich in enzymes and lubricants.

2. Submandibular Gland - This gland is located beneath the lower jaw and produces a mixed secretion of mucus and enzymes.

3. Sublingual Gland - This gland is located beneath the tongue and produces a secretion that is predominantly mucus.

Out of the three salivary glands, the parotid gland is the largest in size and is responsible for producing the majority (around 25%) of the saliva in humans. It is also the only salivary gland that secretes a purely serous fluid devoid of mucus.

Therefore, option B - Parotid Gland is the correct answer.
