Given data:
Capacity of first condenser (C1) = 6 μF
Capacity of second condenser (C2) = 14 μF
Initial charge on first condenser (Q1) = 100V

Ratio of charge on 6 μF and 14 μF capacitors:
When the two capacitors are connected in parallel and then disconnected, the charge will redistribute between the two capacitors according to their capacitance values. The total charge remains constant.
- The total charge before connection = Q1 (charge on 6 μF capacitor)
- After connecting, the total charge is shared between the capacitors in the ratio of their capacitances.
So, the charge on the 6 μF capacitor = (C1 / (C1 + C2)) * Q1
The charge on the 14 μF capacitor = (C2 / (C1 + C2)) * Q1
Therefore, the ratio of charge on the 6 μF and 14 μF capacitors is:
(6 / (6 + 14)) : (14 / (6 + 14))
= 6 : 14
= 3 : 7

Potential of 6 μF capacitor:
When the capacitors are connected and then disconnected, the potential difference across each capacitor is the same as the initial potential difference across the 6 μF capacitor.
Therefore, the potential of the 6 μF capacitor remains the same, which is 100V.
So, the ratio of charge on the 6 μF and 14 μF capacitors is 3 : 7 and the potential of the 6 μF capacitor is 100V.
