Uniformly accelerated motion is a type of motion in which the velocity of the body changes at a uniform rate. This means that the acceleration of the body remains constant throughout the motion.




Given Data:

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Distance covered in second second (s2) = 10 m

Distance covered in fifth second (s5) = 25 m

Time taken to cover the distance between s2 and s5 (t) = 5 - 2 = 3 seconds




Calculation:

Using the formula of uniformly accelerated motion:

s = ut + 1/2at^2

Where, s = distance, u = initial velocity, t = time taken, and a = acceleration




Distance covered in the second second:

s2 = ut + 1/2at^2

10 = 0 + 1/2a(2)^2

10 = 2a

a = 5 m/s^2




Distance covered in the fifth second:

s5 = ut + 1/2at^2

25 = 0 + 1/2a(5)^2

25 = 12.5a

a = 2 m/s^2




Distance covered in the seventh second:

Using the same formula, we can find the distance covered in the seventh second:

s7 = ut + 1/2at^2

s7 = 0 + 1/2(2)(7)^2

s7 = 49 m
