A ladder is resting against a wall at a height of 50 m. Find the lengt...

Let length of the ladder be x m.
Given,
Height of the wall h = 50 m
In right angled △ABC,
⇒ sin15° = AB/AC
⇒ (√3 – 1) /2√2 = 50/x
⇒ x = {50/ (√3 – 1)} × 2√2 × [(√3 + 1) / (√3 + 1)]
⇒ x = 100 × √2(√3 + 1) / (3 – 1)
⇒ X = 50√2(√3 + 1)
∴ Length of the ladder is 50√2(√3 + 1) m.
