Reflection is not a suitable phenomenon to establish that light is wave motion because:

Interference:
- Interference is the phenomenon where two or more light waves superpose to form a resultant wave of greater, lower, or the same intensity.
- This phenomenon can only be explained by considering light as a wave.

Diffraction:
- Diffraction is the bending of light waves around obstacles and the spreading of light waves as they pass through small openings.
- The behavior of light during diffraction can only be explained by considering light as a wave.

Polarization:
- Polarization is the phenomenon where light waves oscillate in a particular plane.
- Although polarization can be explained using wave theory, it is not a phenomenon that is exclusive to wave motion. Reflection can also be explained using particle theory, where light is considered as a stream of particles called photons.
- Therefore, polarization alone may not be sufficient to establish that light is wave motion.

In conclusion, reflection is not a suitable phenomenon to establish that light is wave motion because it can also be explained using particle theory. Interference, diffraction, and polarization are more suitable phenomena to demonstrate wave-like behavior of light.
