Given information:
- Total number of employees in the organisation = 2400
- Ratio of male to female employees = 5 : 3
- 12% of the males work in HR department
- 24% of the females work in Accounts department
- Ratio of males to females working in HR department = 6 : 11
- One-ninth of the females work in IT department
- 42% of the males work in Production department
- Number of females working in Production department = 10% of males working in Production department
- Remaining females work in Marketing department
- Total number of employees working in IT department = 285
- 22% of males work in Marketing department and the remaining work in Accounts department

Solution:
1. Number of males and females in the organisation:
- Let the number of males be 5x and number of females be 3x
- Total employees = 2400
- Therefore, 5x + 3x = 2400
- 8x = 2400
- x = 300
- Number of males = 5x = 1500
- Number of females = 3x = 900

2. Number of males and females in each department:
- HR department:
- Number of males = 12% of 1500 = 180
- Number of females = (11/6) * 180 = 330
- Accounts department:
- Number of males = (100 - 42 - 22)% of 1500 = 336
- Number of females = 24% of 900 = 216
- IT department:
- Number of females = (1/9) * 900 = 100
- Number of males = Total employees in IT department - Number of females = 285 - 100 = 185
- Production department:
- Number of males = 42% of 1500 = 630
- Number of females = (1/10) * 630 = 63
- Marketing department:
- Number of males = (22%) of 1500 = 330
- Number of females = Remaining females = 900 - (330 + 63 + 216 + 100) = 191

3. Percentage of females working in Production department:
- Total number of females working in the organisation = 900
- Number of females working in Production department = 63
- Percentage = (63/900) * 100 = 7%

Therefore, the correct answer is option A (7%).

Total number of employees in Organisation = 2400
The ratio of male to female employees in the Organisation is 5:3 respectively means
The number of males = 5/8 x 2400 = 1500
The number of females = 3/8 x 2400 = 900
As 12% of the males work in the HR department, Number of males in HR department = 12/100 x 1500 = 180
As 24% of the females work in the Accounts,
Number of females in Accounts department = 24/100 x 900 = 216
The ratio of males to females working in the HR department is 6:11 means
Number of females in HR department = 11/6 x 180 = 330
One ninth of the females work in the IT. So, Number of females work in IT department = 1/9 x 900 = 100
42% of the males work in the Production. So, number of males work in the Production
= 42/100 x 1500 = 630
Number of females is working in the Production department is 10% of the males working in the same.
Number of females work in the Production = 10/100 x 630 = 63
Number of females working in the marketing department = 900 - (216 + 330 + 100 + 63) = 191
The total number of employees working in the IT department is 285.
Number of males working in IT = 285 - 100 = 185
22% of the males work in the Marketing department.
Number of males males work in the Marketing department = 22/100 x 1500 = 330
Number of males works in Accounts = 1500 - (180 + 630 + 185 + 330) = 1500 -1325 = 175
Number of females working in the Production department = 63
Total number of females in the organisation = 900
Required percentage = 63/900 x 100 = 7%
