4. Meselson-Stahl Experiment:

- Then, they switched the medium to a lighter isotope (14N) and allowed the bacteria to replicate their DNA.
- The DNA samples were collected at different time points and analyzed using density gradient centrifugation.
- The results showed that after one generation, the DNA had an intermediate density, indicating semi-conservative replication.
