Look arfina, megaspore mother cell (2n) undergo 1st meiosis and form 4 (n) haploid megaspores. from which 3 degenerate and only 1 bcm functional (n) which undergo 3 mitotic dvsion to form 8 free nuclie... out 8 of which 3 nuclei are towards chalaza and form 3 antipodals cell while 3 are towards micropyle end to form 3 celled egg apparatus in which middle cell is egg and remain 2 r synergids .and 2 nuclei cl polar nuclei are at the centre which form 1 cell cl secondary nucleus. such that there are 7 cell and 8 nucleus. ## 2✖3-(n) and 1central cell (2n). ## such that for th formation of polygonum type of embryo sac 1-meiosis and. 3 - mitosis are required. .

For the formation of 1 embryo sac there is 1 meiosis in megaspore mother cell...and then 3 mitosis to form 7 celled 8 nucleated structure .. so there are 4 meiosis and 12 mitosis....
