The maximum volume of air that a person can breathe in after forced expiration or the maximum volume of air that a person can breathe out after forced inspiration is called vital capacity. The value of vital capacity varies from 3400 mL to 4800 mi- On the other hand, tidal volume is the air inspired or expired during normal breathing. Total lung capacity is the volume of air present in lungs and respiratory passage after maximum inspiration. Whereas, inspiratory capacity is total volume of air that a person can inspire after normal inspiration.

The correct answer is option 'B', Vital capacity.

Explanation:
The volume of air that is forcefully inspired after a forced expiration is called the Vital capacity. It is the maximum amount of air that can be exhaled after a maximum inhalation. It is the sum of the Tidal volume, Inspiratory reserve volume, and Expiratory reserve volume.

- Tidal volume (TV): The volume of air that enters or leaves the lungs during normal breathing is called tidal volume. It is about 500 mL.
- Inspiratory reserve volume (IRV): The maximum amount of air that can be forcefully inspired after normal inspiration is called the inspiratory reserve volume. It is about 2500-3000 mL.
- Expiratory reserve volume (ERV): The maximum amount of air that can be forcefully expired after normal expiration is called the expiratory reserve volume. It is about 1000-1200 mL.

Therefore, Vital capacity (VC) = Tidal volume (TV) + Inspiratory reserve volume (IRV) + Expiratory reserve volume (ERV)
VC = 500 mL + 2500-3000 mL + 1000-1200 mL
VC = 3500-4700 mL

Hence, the correct answer is option 'B', Vital capacity.
