In solution of sugar and water the ratio of sugar and water by weight ...
Suppose total weight of mixture is 100 kg. Hence weight of sugar is 20kg and water is 80kg initially. After heating, weight of solution becomes 50kg. (50% of 100) Since only water has evaporated, amount of sugar remains same.(i.e 20kg). Hence weight of water = 50-20= 30 kg. Therefore, the ratio of weight of sugar and water in final ratio = 20:30 = 2:3. Hope this helps.
