Everything in the Universe tends to be Stable.. because it's the law of nature, and As we know Electron Affinity means the tendency to Accept Electron. Since Noble Gases are stable due to their completely fulfilled configuration, they doesn't require any extra to be stable. Hence the electron affinity comes out to be zero..
